US History (Trial Version)

Grade Levels: 7-12

US History covers American history from the earliest settlement of North America through the Internet revolution of the late 20th and early 21st century. Each curriculum-based lesson is correlated to national standards for US history. All lessons include engaging multimedia animations, relevant real life examples, thought-provoking journal topics, interactive quiz questions, skill-building exercises, critical thinking challenge activities, and an explanation of basic terms and concepts.

The US History lessons are arranged chronologically in 10 eras:

* Colonization and Settlement (1585-1763)
* Revolution and the New Nation
* Expansion and Reform (1801-1861)
* The Civil War and Reconstruction
* The Development of the Industrial United States
* The Emergence of Modern America (1890-1930)
* The Great Depression and World War II (1929 - 1945)
* Postwar United States (1945 to early 1970s)
* The Contemporary United States (1968 to the present)
